Comment: | cleric is the priest of Donjons and Dragons world. He must be adherent of one of the pantheon's religion that give him the possibility to use magic. Unlike the wizard who learns his spells with his magic spell's book, the cleric receive his spells directly from his deity when he prays. To obtain them, he must use his powers to advance the beliefs of his mythos. Cleric spells are less offensive than magic spells. They help clerics to serve, fortify, protect, and revitalise those under his care. Cleric can turn (drive away) undead and, when they reach high levels, can destroy them. They can wear any type of armor and use any shield but they can use only blunt weapons. Wisdom is the principal attribute of the clerics. |

Comment: | the warrior's group (fighter, paladin, ranger) make its way in the world primally by skill at arms. Warriors are the only class of charater which can use any weapon and wear any type of armor. Strenght is the principal attribute of a fighter. It determines the hit probability and the damage adjustement. But to be a good fighter, you need a good dexterity (determine the use of missile weapons and give you a better defensif level) and a good constitution which dertermine the physical resistance to injury. Fighter can have any alignment: good or evil, lawfull or chaotic, or neutral. |
